The Coffee
Roast dates measured in days. Producer name, farm, altitude, varietal, processing method, price paid—on the label. Twenty-three roasters examined. One admitted.
The Candle
The Monclaire Guide does not recommend. It designates. Forty-one candles examined across sixteen houses. One admitted. The rest did not pass.
The Carafe
The Monclaire Guide does not recommend. It designates. Forty-three carafes examined. None designated. The criteria are clear, and no object meets them.
