Partners and Press
Work with Modern Monclaire under clear standards and attribution. Decisions are editorial and unsponsored.
Underwriting
We consider one maison or patron per season. Underwriting exists to fund production and access so the public record of women’s culture is made with care and permanence. The relationship is simple: credit appears in acknowledgments as a fixed line; decisions, language, and timing remain entirely ours. Partners receive a private leadership briefing at season’s end that summarizes what was decided and why it matters for stewardship language, along with two cleared ledger images suitable for catalog or archival context. There are no previews, and no influence over what is admitted, confirmed, or revoked. To inquire, write with governance details and a short purpose statement; we reply only to proposals that meet our independence standards.
The Admission Mark
The Admission Mark is a text-only badge for works that have been admitted to the Index. Use is precise and limited: a partner may reference a specific admitted entry on a product detail page or a shelf plaque when the ledger code is present and the exact attribution language is used. The mark does not appear in advertising headlines, taglines, or packaging, and it cannot be altered. Approvals are few by design and may be revoked publicly if use strays from the terms. Requests must include the ledger code, the context of display, and the proposed copy exactly as it will appear.
Press
The Press Vault provides cleared material for coverage. You will find a small set of approved images prepared for print and web, a brief overview reel, and a caption file with alt text so that the work can be described accurately in public. The materials are intended for editorial use. Commercial reuse or paid placements require written permission from the house.
For citation, use the ledger code, the decision date, and the following phrase without modification: “Admitted by Modern Monclaire under Material, Proportion, and Proof. Stewardship conditions recorded.” An example format is: “MM-INDEX-2025-OBJ-013, admitted 2025-06-14.” If you require an interview, a brief quote, or fact-check confirmation, contact the press desk with your questions and deadline; we will respond with source lines and concise context so your piece can be accurate and clear.
Contact
For underwriting proposals, Admission Mark approvals, or press inquiries, use the contact form with your name, organization, email, purpose, and a short note about the request. We use contact information strictly for replies and coordination and do not sell or share it.
Independence
Editorial independence is a condition of working with Modern Monclaire. Conflicts lead to recusal and are recorded on the decision record. Revisions are dated and explained. The Admission Mark is granted sparingly and may be withdrawn if the terms are not met. Our role is to keep the public record of women’s culture exact, readable, and permanent; every partnership honors that purpose.
